Celebrating $20,000 in Pro Bono for 2016

The Spark Mill is excited to share that we awarded close to $20,000 in pro bono services for small nonprofits and churches in the Central Virginia area in 2016. The goal of the pro bono program is to ensure that high quality consulting is within the reach of emerging social good organizations.

Participants in the pro bono program included, Antioch United Methodist Church, Read to Me Virginia, Startup Virginia, Girls Rock RVA, and the Pace Center for Campus Ministries at VCU. Pro bono services are limited to organizations and churches with budgets less than $150,000.    Qualifying organizations are granted 10 hours of consulting support for a specific project.

TSM founder, Sarah Milston said, “I don’t want small organizations to lose out on professional consulting simply because they are small or just getting started. This is part of our commitment to ensuring all social good organizations can access quality services."
