Hi, My name is Angela.

Hi, My name is Angela…..

I am The Spark Mill’s new Assistant Consultant.

I have focused my career on coaching people through change and transition, professional development, and training. I have a background working with government, for-profit and nonprofit businesses and I am SO HAPPY to be here.

Here’s a little about me:

  1. I am originally from California, and grew up in Chester, VA. I have been in Richmond for 13 years collectively – I also spent a few years in Phoenix, AZ.

  2. My favorite book depends on my mood. I read a lot of nonfiction but have recently gotten into some sci-fi / fiction as well.

  3. I am slowly learning to be “greener” and have plans of putting a garden in soon.

  4. I love yoga and weight training – sometimes cardio on a good day.

  5. I am an okay guitar player and a very mediocre drummer. I recently gave my drums away to make room for a miniature drum kit for my 3-year-old.

  6. I collect (and listen to) vinyl records.

  7. I am particular about my coffee. I have a personal vendetta against Mr. Coffee.

  8. One of my favorite activities is watching live music. The genre isn’t important for the most part. I love seeing and hearing people create and express themselves through music.

  9. I love seafood.

  10. My favorite animal is the Hermit Crab.

  11. I love public transportation.

  12. The only reason I want to be famous is so I can be on “Finding your Roots” with Henry Louis Gates Jr.

  13. I have a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from VCU. I also attended Richard Bland and Arizona State.

  14. I collect matryoshka dolls. My dream is to have a 100-piece set displayed in my office.

  15. I am working towards a Professional Coaching Certification and hope to be complete by 2022.

  16. I am passionate about Criminal Justice reform.

  17. Falling down can be just as important as getting up.

  18. I would never want to live without a body of water nearby.

  19. I LOVE trivia.

  20. If you asked my best friends what I am good at they would say “Asking questions.”
