Below, please find the DRAFT Strategic Plan for Crater Area Coalition on Homelessness . This is the result of our strategic planning process over the last several months. We welcome your feedback at this point in the process.

INTENDED IMPACTS OF STRATEGIC PLAN:
Homelessness is reduced in the Crater Region
People living in the Crater Region have a deeper understanding of the scope of problems, gaps in housing, available resources, and that everyone has a part in ending homelessness
GOALS AND STRATEGIES
1. Deploy an innovative and collaborative regional response to homelessness in the Crater Region
1.1 Expand deep relationships and partnerships with current and potential partners on the ground
1.2 Focus on racial justice and representation of the communities served in relationship building
2. Support the facilitation of collaborative regional efforts to develop shelter options in the Crater Region
2.1. Ensure the plan is aligned with best practice standards for shelters
2.2. Assess current landscape
2.3. Engage in an Environmental Scan of nationwide best practices
3. Increase awareness about homelessness and the role of CACH in ending homelessness in the Crater region and the organizations offering resources across the region
3.1. Be the “go to” resource for elected officials, community and faith based organizations to work towards solving the current homelessness problem in the Crater region
3.2. Develop an outreach plan for elected officials
3.3. Provide general education to the public about homelessness and CACH
3.4. Share data and knowledge about homelessness with the region
4. Amplify the stories and lived experiences of those living with homelessness
4.1. Deploy a storytelling campaign centered in racial equity
4.2. Invest in clear and attainable marketing
FOUNDATIONS OF SUCCESS: CACH is fortified for continued impact for people experiencing homelessness and the organizations that support them
5. Increase the capacity of the coalition
5.1. Seek funding to hire a staff member solely for CACH
5.2. Increase budget through shared fundraising
6. Implement internal process and culture improvements to accelerate work
6.1.Ensure that all coalition members are sharing the same, correct, information
6.2. Balance the workload of individuals within the coalition
6.3. Increase transparency within coalition
7. Expand equity centered values throughout the coalition
7.1. Assess the coalition’s assets for cultural humility, including building,
messaging, and internal processes
7.2. Enhance the knowledge base of the direct service organizations
through deploying cultural humility training programs
